Apple IIgs users, developers and publishers take notice ! Our didicated, world-wide group is still very much alive and growing. We are all still very active and working hard, diligently and full time for the Apple II and IIgs.

They're all very talented programmers, artist and/or hardware designers, who are devoted to the improvement and continued enhancement efforts for the IIgs world. They also have many friends and fellow Apple II and IIgs users, around the world to rely on, for help with their projects, efforts and treats in progress, for all of you that use the Apple II and IIgs.
My three day long IIgs (APPLE TREK - THE NEXT GENERATION), at Apple EXPO WEST, certainly convinced me that there are many fantastic things happening for the IIgs, that will put it into high gear and OVERDRIVE this year and next !
This SUMMER and FALL should really bring a lot of great things to every IIgs user. I was really impressed with what I saw. All the friendly programmers, developers, Apple II and IIgs users, groups and enthusist I met and talked with, were eagar and willing to give our team all the help possible, to allow us to present some ( much needed) information that has been DORMANT and out-of-reach, for much too long now.
(WHAT THIS MEANS IS SIMPLY, THAT A COMPLETE DISK-BASED SET OF TEXT FILES IN ENGLISH IS IN THE WORKS, BEING TRANSLATED AND DEVELOPED, AS AN UPDATE DETAILED REWRITE FROM THE RARE, FTA/TOOLBOX ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE PROGRAMMING BOOK FOR THE IIGS, THAT WAS OVER 400 PAGES LONG AND ORIGINALLY WRITTEN IN FRENCH)
YOU CAN LOOK FOR THIS TO BE RELEASED AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME OF 1993. I'LL BE WORKING ON THIS PROJECT WITH ALL I'VE GOT TO GIVE. OUR TEAM MEMBER, DAGAN BROCK WILL BE ASSISTING WITH THE MAIN TRANSLATION EFFORTS, WITH THE HELP AND ASSISTANCE OF HIS GOOD FRIEND CRIS, IN QUEBEC, CANADA.
I learned a lot, about so many wonderful software and hardware treats under development for the IIgs and nearing release, from so many people at Apple EXPO WEST, that it nearly blew me away.
Rest assured, that all IIgs users have a lot to look forward to in the next few months time and a great deal of wonderful new IIgs programs are in their final stages of beta testing and development. All IIgs users can expect some STATE-OF-THE-ART software and hardware enhancements for their computer, this year and next year also !
After the mind-boggeling presentations at KANSASFEST 93, the Apple IIgs users can feel confident that their computer, thru compatibles under development, will have a long and prosperous future to offer them.
I had a long discussion with our team member Huibert Aalbers today, at his home in Madrid, Spain. He's moving to Quebec, Canada, later this month. I'll be working with him very closely during the rest of this year, to coordinate the development efforts of a complete rewrite, with vast improvements for a commercial SoundSmith for the IIgs. I'm sure there will be many things presented at KANASAFEST 93, that will be of great interest to the Apple II and IIgs users. I hope this press release and this information is one of them.
I wish I could make it to KANSASFEST 93, but other work efforts won't allow me to ! You will find our team member Dagan Brock there and nearby Bill Heineman, no doubt. After all, that's Dagans home town and Bill is his favorite IIgs programmer. You'll also find the ' Special KANSASFEST 93 Release ' NTV 19 Disk there. I designed this FULL DIGITAL (Special Edition) for distribution and your Virtual (Vertual) Audio 3-D Stereo listening presentation, exclusively for KANSASFEST 93.
Those of you that can make it to ' KANSASFEST 93 ' can get a copy of NTV 19. The rest of you can find it as an 800k packed disk SHRINKIT file on the three major on-line services; AOL, Genie and CompuServe, available for downloading, on or about the end of July.
I've also just started to lay the ground work for the commercial development of a DSP card for the IIgs. Please be advised, this DSP card development project has no connection with Pete Snowberg or his past efforts with any DSP card project.
This is my own project, with the assistance of many team members of our 1 World Software Wizards. The DSP card will be designed by a very well respected Santa Clara, Ca. engineering group. Unlike the ' Pete Snowberg DSP card project ', that never happened, my IIgs DSP card project will definitely be developed and released for commercial sales, at a very reasonable price, within the year.
Our team has also decided to make available to all IIgs users, a full-function DEMO MIDI SEQUENCER FREEWARE, ' SuperSoundPro ' that's totally compatible with the GS/OS v6.0.1, all versions of SoundSmith and NoiseTracker GS. This GS/OS application program was developed with the assistance of Huibert Aalbers and other 1WSW team members. Huibert relayed to mea few days ago in our conversation, that he is aware of the problems with SoundSmith v1.01 and has returned many Shareware checks, to those who were kind enough to send them to him.

During the year, we will be developing and updating the following software for release, for the Apple II series and the Apple IIgs. All will be written in machine or assembly language and will be 100% compatable with the GS/OS v6.0.1.
(1) * NoiseTracker II GS v2.0 : Projected update and proposed enhancements will include; (a) load/play/edit/save music/sample file formats for the following; Diversi-tune¬, Music Studio¬, SoundSmith, and SynthLAB¬ as well as all previous music/sample file formats found on NoiseTracker 1.0, i.e.; Amiga¬, Atari¬, NT music and MODULES.
(b) Improved expanded editing functions, such as; individual positions, full score track, CUT/COPY/PASTE and fade-in/fade-out, reverb, echo, delay, etc.- (special effects via companion sound editors).
(c) Enhanced sample/sound quality with Virtual (3-D) Audio compositions.
(d) Concise detailed documentation on all aspects of program operations, applications, music composition and conversion.
(e) Enhanced sound quality and special effects, with full MIDI support.
(f) Multimedia program (Stereo X-commands), to allow VAMPS-PGSD (Virtual 3-D Audio) 360í Stereo inclusion in; HyperStudio¬ and Hypercard GS¬ stacks. (Under future development from ECON Technologies and our 1WSW team members)
(g) Special Effects music, sound NDA's and CDA's
* RELEASE - PENDING FINAL DEVELOPMENT. We had hoped to have this program ready for release by last Christmas. But, problems have developed that are causing a long delay in its release ! Hopefully we will have it finished, beta tested and ready for release in a few more months. You'll be astounded with the enhancements and improvements it offers you.
(2) Photonix III: Projected enhancements will include;
* 100% compatible with the GS/OS v6.0.1 ( will launch from /return to finder)
* GS/OS application program and P8 system program (100% assembly language)
* Supports copy of; all Apple (3.5") disk formats; 400k,800k and High-Density;
* Supports copy of; all fast copy (non-copy protected) Apple (5.25") disk formats
* Hard Drive compatible, with utilities for; HD back-up and HD optimization

(3)TransFont Wizard GS: An advanced 320/640 SHR - 256 color and (perhaps even 3200 color) 8/16 bit graphics composition and font utility program, that will allow overlay inclusion for graphics and text, cut and paste editing with many other macro commands for all; Apple IIgs ¬ System fonts, P8 Fontrix¬ fonts and (P8) Multiscribe¬ fonts. (Perhaps even TrueType ¬ fonts)
(4) Musix GS: A full (MIDI) stereo universal file format translator and converter program. (The beta development version with all of the SRC.CODES and future development suggestions has been released as a FREEWARE. It should be on most of the major on-line services and other BBS's. If you can't locate it, please write or call Dr. Tom, for a copy)
(5) SuperSoundPro GS: A full featured (MIDI) composition program, featuring the best of both; SoundSmith and NoiseTracker, with total compatibility for both of these programs, allowing advanced (REAL-TIME) Virtual (3-D) Audio stereo composition effects and samples. The (FREEWARE) Demo version is finished and due for release at ' KANSASFEST 93 ' as of this date. Look for it soon on your BBS' and major on-line services. soniqTracker GS: is being continually updated and improved by it author and our esteemed team member, Tim Meekins towards a commercial release- full MOD player - sequencer /composition and sound sample extractor/saver program ! The final commercial release will really make all MOD collectors with a IIgs, stand up and salute their computer, as well as Tim Meekins for all the effort, time and talents he's putting into this project.
We need your valued input on all of our software and hardware projects and efforts, as well as your suggestions for enhancements you want to see included. We always welcome any suggestions for improvements and would like to hear from you concerning any other programs for the Apple II series and the Apple IIgs, that you would like to see developed, enhanced, rewritten or improved for your use.
